My first book deal.

Hello peeps. πŸ™‚

I hope that everyone is doing well.

I have some great news! πŸ™‚

Earlier this year, after researching a series of books for several months, I wrote my first ever book proposal – which took me seven weeks to put together. It’s a bible study book that will be 15,000 words. I sent it off to the publisher after first approaching them with a general email enquiry and after four weeks of waiting they accepted my proposal and offered me a contract!

Needless to say that I was excited. After all, this is my dream come true to write a book and see my name in print on the front cover. So now I’m in the process of writing it as it needs to be completed by the start of November.

It’s a bible study book that will be a part of the Cover to Cover series.

I was overjoyed that my first ever book proposal was accepted! Especially as I kept reading about how difficult it is to get a book deal and be prepared for rejection but this all just goes to show that if you don’t try then you will never know.

So if you have a project that your working on and you are not even sure if it will be accepted or not, just go for it as you never know unless you try. If I didn’t try then I wouldn’t have a book deal now.

All the best,

Thanks for reading,

Sarah. πŸ™‚
