Booky Bookmark
This bookmark is easy and quick to make. It’s an ideal way to use up yarn scraps. It would be great for either your personal use or it would make a great gift for a friend.
Finished size:
17.5cm long (6.3/4 inches)
6.5cm wide (2.5 inches)
What you need
Scraps of any DK yarn (approx. 7 grams)
3.25mm (size 10 US) Needles.
Tapestry needle.
Scissors.
Instructions
- Cast on 10 stitches of main yarn.
- Garter stitch 80 rows (40 rows each side).
- Cast off.
- Weave in ends.
- With the Tapestry needle sew a Blanket stich around the edges using the contrast yarn.
- Place in your favourite book! 😊
