Hi Peeps, I hope that you are all doing well.
Just thought that I would share my latest weight loss and fitness results with you all. 😊
So far, I’ve:
- Lost 28 pounds in weight (2 stone).
- Lost 5 inches all over.
- Increased my cardio vascular fitness.
- Increased my muscle strength and endurance.
- Made steady progress.
- Dropped at least 2 dress sizes (but probably more like 3).
- Feel great!
- Increased my self-confidence.
- Can see the results because I used the SMART acronym discussed in my previous post.
I’m no longer gasping for breath when only doing the slightest thing and it feels wonderful. I’m able to move more quickly because I don’t have so much bulk to carry around with me, which was mostly achieved by walking around the park and using a pair of light dumbbells for a few exercises at home. I also cut down on portion sizes, cut down on my bread intake, and switched from vegetable oil to a one kcal spray.
It’s a lot of hard work and discipline. Plus, not being discouraged if you’re not reaching your target goals but just keep pressing forward, one day at a time.
I’ve still got a long way to go, but at least I now know that I can do it and that I will achieve my weight loss and fitness goals. It’s been a massive achievement as I didn’t think I would be able to do it since I’ve had major surgery in the past and my body isn’t what it was. Plus, I do have some discomfort inside my body so I have to be careful about what exercises to do but I’m hoping that once I’ve lost all my excess weight, that this discomfort will be gone!

I’d like to thank all of you for your love and support during my transition from fat to fit! It means a lot and I greatly appreciate it, especially as losing weight and getting back into shape is not an easy thing to do, especially on your own.
