Bag making series – final part

Hi Peeps,

I hope that you’re all doing well.

This week is the final part of my bag making series.

If you have enjoyed it and would like to try making your own bags, then here are some great resources to help you on your way. I was planning to write my own pattern but I’m still working on that.

Susie has written a few bag making books and blogs here: https://susieddesigns.wordpress.com/

I have bought her bag making techniques for beginners and beyond and highly recommend it. I’ve found it incredibly useful in my own bag making adventures.

If you prefer some follow along videos, then here are a couple of links that are great. The first link is for Kristen Link video tutorials called bag making basics, which are free to watch on Blueprint (formerly Craftsy).

The second link is to Dana at made everyday.com and it’s for a tote bag two ways:

Dana has several bag patterns on her You Tube channel so go wild and watch them all.

I hope that you have enjoyed this bag making series as much as I have. Experiment and have fun! 😊

Thanks for reading. Feel free to share,

Sarah.
